The Underwater Photography Guide was initially written out of my passion for photography, and has continued because I enjoy sharing with others how to gain more from it.

Underwater photography can be very daunting for beginners. Many photographers have professional level settings and may not want to be disturbed by new photographers.

This website aims to become an online resource for all underwater photographers, regardless of their level of expertise. I hope more photographers and divers can be exposed to knowledge.

I am proud to have created the first free online underwater photography guide. The depth of this guide has now exceeded 1000 pages, and it seems that there is still a lot of content to be written! Over a hundred contributors have increased their professional knowledge and helped make it the number one resource for learning underwater photography worldwide.

If I can make more people interested in underwater photography and keep them interested, then they can also play a role in promoting underwater habitats to the world and protecting the unique animals living there. If more people take the photos they want to share, it will stimulate people's interest in scuba diving and protecting our world's oceans.
