International freight, sea freight, air freight, shipping company freight

Trading under the name Grant Carroll began in 1997 and was founded by Grant Carroll in 2002 (registered as Carroll International Pty Ltd, ABN: 51099 760880). He was born in Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand and raised by his Croatian mother Rose and New Zealand father Ross (founder and former owner of "The Ghost Inn" Coolgardie in Coolgardie and Perth, Western Australia). Grant's career began in the early 1980s with a young boy (17 years old) in Perth, working in an air cargo department for the then transportation giant Mayne Nickless (a publicly traded company). Grant's responsibilities included cleaning warehouse floors, using two-way radios, displaying Northwest Australian cargo at night, editing, faxing, and telegraphing (as early as the 1980s!), displaying and categorizing dangerous goods through air and road freight. Search for late and lost goods, unload and sort express goods from eastern states, perform emergency express delivery work near Perth city, and load and unload heavy transport vehicles in mining areas in northwest Australia. Block, support, and dismantle heavy machinery used for semi-trailer transportation (including road trains). Load the aircraft cargo hold, stay at the airport for overnight air freight, collect and sort priority air cargo from cargo planes in eastern states in the early morning, and transport emergency cargo to remote mining areas and drilling rigs in northwest Australia. At the age of 19, Grant was transferred to Sydney and worked at Mayne Nickless North Shore Branch as a transportation salesperson and operations assistant to the North Shore Operations Manager (Grant is the youngest transportation salesperson employed by Mayne Nickless Group). During his tenure at Mayne Nickless Grant, he was transferred to Brisbane, Queensland and worked under some very famous and respected Mayne Nickless Transportation executives, including Rob Sadlier, Russell Waddy, Bill Stubbs, and one of his favorite bosses and close friends, Mayne Nickless Queensland Operations Manager Jamie Masters (unfortunately, Jamie has passed away). Grant resigned from Mayne Nickless at the age of 22 and joined TNT Group. Grant joined Comet at the age of 22 (remember their slogan, "Hello Comet!") As a department of TNT, Grant, the 22-year-old cargo manager of Queensland Airlines, is the youngest manager of TNT Group in the country. Grant worked very hard during his time at TNT. Grant worked at TNT for 4-5 years and held various positions. After leaving TNT, Grant spent 6 years running various transportation businesses for himself and others (some successful, some unsuccessful) In the following years, Grant had the privilege of working with Peter Markle and renowned New Zealand entrepreneur and billionaire Sir John Davis. Peter Markle is a respected (saintly) Australian transportation entrepreneur. Peter (a renowned lateral thinker) founded Skyroad Express and served as its Managing Director (Skyroad Express was sold to Mayne Nickless). Skyroad Express was once one of the largest transportation companies in Australia. As mentioned above, Grant also had the privilege of working with (and reporting directly to) Sir John Davis, founder of Trojan Holdings (a vibrant New Zealand tourism company) and Northern Southland Transport Holdings (headquartered in Queenstown, New Zealand). As of 2016, Grant has 35 years of transportation experience, initially engaged in trading at Carroll International Limited since 2002.
