Since then, the magazine has developed into the only national multi platform brand targeting all immigrants in Canada, with themes ranging from careers to education to settlement. ###Canadian Immigration: A Brief History

Recognizing the lack of available information for new immigrants in Canada, the Canadian Immigration Program was launched in April 2004 with the aim of helping them settle down more easily. When we started researching the concept of the magazine, our investigation revealed some interesting results. One of the most important inspirations is that as immigrants leave their old role models, they need new positive role models - role models can inspire them to settle in Canada.

Our research also suggests that the information needs of immigrants are roughly the same, regardless of their race. No matter which country they come from, the challenges they face are very similar. According to Statistics Canada, it takes an average of 10 years for immigrants to settle in Canada.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the issue of resettlement involves more than just providing a booklet on how to obtain a social insurance number card or open a bank account.
