NLXL - Senior Designer Product Manufacturer

NLXL is a pioneer in digital wallpaper. NLXL was founded in 2010 and is known for its Scrapwood wallpapers, which were created by designer Piet Hein Eek and NLXL founders Rick Vintage and Esther Vlak.

The company collaborates with leading brands and designers such as Paris concept stores Merci, Piet Boon, Paola Navone, Bethan Gray, Nacho Carbonell, Piet Hein Eek, Neil Poulton, Richard Hutten, Studio Job, etc.

After conquering the walls of the world, NLXL launched the NLXL carpet. The first carpet collection was designed by Mr.&Mrs. Vintage, inspired by ancient fabric designs.

Both Scrapwood Wallpaper and Archives Wallpaper from Studio Job have won the editorial award from ICFF in New York. The latter also won the prestigious ELLE Decoration International Design Award during Milan Design Week in 2015.

Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum has added waste wood, archives, and mixed wallpapers to their permanent collection.

Scrapwood wallpapers and archives are exhibited at the Museum of Architecture and Design in New York. The archive wallpaper of Studio Job appears in all windows of Saks 5th Avenue, used for introducing the Alexander McQueen fashion collection and the Paul Smith store window located on 5th Avenue.

The project clients include Bloomingdales, W Hotels, Cartier, Ralph Lauren, Amazon, Google, Meiju Hotels, etc.

The NLXL product has appeared in The New York Times, Daily News, Architectural Digest, Wallpaper * magazine, DesignBoom, Dezeen, Coolhunter, and almost all other major indoor publications.
