CraftGossip was founded in 2007 to help the thriving craft/DIY industry provide an outlet for the latest projects, ideas, techniques and tools. Today, CraftGossip is the go-to site for curated content that is hand-picked, reviewed and edited daily by our editorial team. Our daily newsletter has been a source of inspiration for thousands of crafters and creators since 2007.

CraftGossip was founded by Shellie Wilson and Vikram Goyal. Shellie and her mother Rita Wilson had already successfully created Craftbits.com and she was flooded with requests from crafting companies to showcase and use their latest and greatest projects and ideas on the site. It was then that she decided to diversify and create a second, separate site dedicated to publishing reviews from large companies and all independent creators.

Today, CraftGossip has been featured in TechCrunch, HuffPost, Womans Magazines, Martha Stewart, and many more. Our current and former editorial team includes the whos who of the craft world, including Vicki Howell (knitting), Jennifer Perkins (craft artist), Meaghan Mountford (edible crafts), Anne Weaver (sewing), Francine Clouden (scrapbooking), Stefanie Girard (currently working in recycled crafts), and Sarah White (currently working in knitting, lesson plans, and cross stitch).
