Your Build - Instructables

Instructables was founded in 2005 by Squid Labs members as a documentation system for open source experimental kitesurfing. When they're not solving interesting problems like driveway solar panels, efficient use of manpower, or strain sensing ropes, you can find them sharing Instructables in the studio. From 3D printing to cooking to making anything fly, Instructables has been the recipient of countless hours of tinkering, soldering, sewing, frying, and fun.

Since its inception, Instructables has grown into an amazing community of curious doers from all over the world, with hundreds of thousands of projects.

In 2011, Instructables became part of Autodesk, a company dedicated to helping innovators around the world take today's problems and turn them into something amazing. By sharing our work, we are able to build connections across boundaries and acquire the skills needed to tackle future challenges. Every day, we are amazed by the imagination, curiosity, and simply amazing quality of each person who shares their work with us on Instructables.
