Real Madrid Football Club

Real Madrid CF, also known as Real Madrid, is a football club located in Madrid, the capital of Spain. The team was founded on March 6, 1902. Real Madrid was formerly known as the Madrid Football Team. On June 29, 1920, the then King of Spain, Alfonso XIII, added the word "Real" (Spanish, meaning royal) to the name of the club and added a crown to the emblem to promote the development of football in Madrid, the capital of Spain. Since then, the club has been officially named Real Madrid Football Club.

Real Madrid Football Club has many world stars. On December 11, 2000, it was named the greatest team of the 20th century by the International Football Federation (FIFA). On September 10, 2009, it was named the best European club of the 20th century by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics. Real Madrid has won 14 Champions League titles (first in European football), 35 Spanish Football League titles (first in Spain), 20 Spanish King's Cup titles, 13 Spanish Super Cup titles, 5 European Super Cup titles and 7 club world championships (including 5 FIFA Club World Cup titles, the most titles).
