Archive.today (also known as Archive.is) is a privately funded web archiving website with a data center located in the northern part of France in Europe - the Strait of Calais. This website uses Apache Hadoop and Apache Accumulo software to store webpage content. Its main function is to archive web pages, provide web page snapshots so that users can view the historical versions of web pages or prevent web pages from being deleted or changed.

Archive.today will remove archived pages based on the removal request of the copyright owner in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). In addition, the website also supports the Memento Project API and has developed plugins for Firefox and Chrome browsers. However, Archive.today refused to provide additional information.
