The University of Western Australia was originally located in the commercial center of Perth, and moved to its current campus in Crawley, South District in the 1930s. The new campus is situated on the banks of the Swan River, with a well-developed public transportation system and modern urban facilities. Perth has a sunny Mediterranean climate, the world's most magnificent coastline, and a relaxed and leisurely pace of life. This living environment has also earned Perth the title of the most livable city in the world.
