Alibaba Public DNS is a DNS recursive resolution system launched by Alibaba Group. Its goal is to become a part of the domestic Internet infrastructure and provide free DNS recursive resolution services that are "fast", "stable" and "intelligent" for Internet users.

DNS is a distributed database that stores the mapping relationship between domain names and IP addresses on the Internet. With DNS, users can easily access the Internet with domain names, without caring about complicated IP addresses that are difficult to remember. The process of obtaining the corresponding IP address through a domain name is called domain name resolution.
