Shenzhen DIY Community (SZDIY) is a free software and hardware community originally founded by Linux enthusiasts from SZLUG (Shenzhen Linux User Group) in 2009.
The community uses email lists and IRC to communicate ideas online, and regularly holds offline gatherings to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and collaborate on projects in their respective fields. The community encourages everyone to collaborate and solve practical problems encountered in daily life. After years of accumulation, the community has accumulated many original DIY projects and gathered numerous technical talents from different fields, gradually forming a community culture of "actions speak louder than words".
Open source and freedom: Community projects adhere to the principles of free and open-source.
Sharing: Regularly/irregularly hold themed gatherings to share knowledge/experiences/observations/insights.
Collaboration: The community encourages members to spontaneously collaborate on projects and connect resources.
