CPSGs mission is to save endangered species by improving the effectiveness of global conservation efforts. For 40 years, we have achieved this through scientifically sound collaborative processes that bring together people with diverse perspectives and knowledge to promote positive conservation change. We provide species conservation planning expertise to governments, expert groups, zoos and aquariums, and other wildlife organizations. CPSG turns passion for wildlife into effective conservation. CPSG is part of the Species Survival Commission of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and is supported by a non-profit organization called the Global Conservation Network.
