The second Silk Road International Film Festival was held in Fuzhou from September 22nd to 26th, 2015. The 3rd Silk Road International Film Festival will be held in Xi'an from September 19th to 23rd, 2016. The second screening section of the Silk Road International Film Festival collected 650 films from 70 Silk Road and surrounding countries, including 495 foreign language films. Finally, 56 films were selected for the screening unit. Taking the construction of the "Silk Road Film and Television Bridge Project" and the "New Starting Point of the Silk Road Economic Belt" as opportunities, we will use films as a link to build an international platform for film exchange and trading, promote cultural exchange and cooperation among countries along the Silk Road, and enhance the international influence of Chinese films. Through continuous efforts, we aim to transform the Silk Road International Film Festival into an influential international film festival.

International freight, sea freight, air freight, shipping company freight

Trading under the name Grant Carroll began in 1997 and was founded by Grant Carroll in 2002 (registered as Carroll International Pty Ltd, ABN: 51099 760880). He was born in Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand and raised by his Croatian mother Rose and New Zealand father Ross (founder and former owner of "The Ghost Inn" Coolgardie in Coolgardie and Perth, Western Australia). Grant's career began in the early 1980s with a young boy (17 years old) in Perth, working in an air cargo department for the then transportation giant Mayne Nickless (a publicly traded company). Grant's responsibilities included cleaning warehouse floors, using two-way radios, displaying Northwest Australian cargo at night, editing, faxing, and telegraphing (as early as the 1980s!), displaying and categorizing dangerous goods through air and road freight. Search for late and lost goods, unload and sort express goods from eastern states, perform emergency express delivery work near Perth city, and load and unload heavy transport vehicles in mining areas in northwest Australia. Block, support, and dismantle heavy machinery used for semi-trailer transportation (including road trains). Load the aircraft cargo hold, stay at the airport for overnight air freight, collect and sort priority air cargo from cargo planes in eastern states in the early morning, and transport emergency cargo to remote mining areas and drilling rigs in northwest Australia. At the age of 19, Grant was transferred to Sydney and worked at Mayne Nickless North Shore Branch as a transportation salesperson and operations assistant to the North Shore Operations Manager (Grant is the youngest transportation salesperson employed by Mayne Nickless Group). During his tenure at Mayne Nickless Grant, he was transferred to Brisbane, Queensland and worked under some very famous and respected Mayne Nickless Transportation executives, including Rob Sadlier, Russell Waddy, Bill Stubbs, and one of his favorite bosses and close friends, Mayne Nickless Queensland Operations Manager Jamie Masters (unfortunately, Jamie has passed away). Grant resigned from Mayne Nickless at the age of 22 and joined TNT Group. Grant joined Comet at the age of 22 (remember their slogan, "Hello Comet!") As a department of TNT, Grant, the 22-year-old cargo manager of Queensland Airlines, is the youngest manager of TNT Group in the country. Grant worked very hard during his time at TNT. Grant worked at TNT for 4-5 years and held various positions. After leaving TNT, Grant spent 6 years running various transportation businesses for himself and others (some successful, some unsuccessful) In the following years, Grant had the privilege of working with Peter Markle and renowned New Zealand entrepreneur and billionaire Sir John Davis. Peter Markle is a respected (saintly) Australian transportation entrepreneur. Peter (a renowned lateral thinker) founded Skyroad Express and served as its Managing Director (Skyroad Express was sold to Mayne Nickless). Skyroad Express was once one of the largest transportation companies in Australia. As mentioned above, Grant also had the privilege of working with (and reporting directly to) Sir John Davis, founder of Trojan Holdings (a vibrant New Zealand tourism company) and Northern Southland Transport Holdings (headquartered in Queenstown, New Zealand). As of 2016, Grant has 35 years of transportation experience, initially engaged in trading at Carroll International Limited since 2002.

The Nature Conservancy (TNC)

The Nature Conservancy (TNC)

In 1998, TNC was invited to enter China to carry out conservation work. Firstly, a conservation project was implemented in Northwest Yunnan, one of the global biodiversity hotspots. Together with the Yunnan Provincial People's Government, the "Northwest Yunnan Conservation and Development Action Plan" was formulated, and tailored conservation strategies were developed and implemented. Since 2007, TNC and the Ministry of Environmental Protection (now the Ministry of Ecology and Environment) have collaborated on the "China Biodiversity Conservation Vision Plan" project (also known as the "Blueprint" project). The blueprint has identified 35 priority protection areas for the Chinese government. This achievement has been adopted by the "China Biodiversity Conservation Strategy and Action Plan (2011-2030)", which clarifies the overall goals, strategic tasks, and priority actions for biodiversity conservation in China for the next 20 years. In 2017, TNC obtained the registration certificate for overseas non-governmental organization representative institutions issued by the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, becoming an international nature conservation organization under the jurisdiction of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, which can carry out nature conservation work nationwide. Over the past two decades, TNC has gradually expanded its protection programs nationwide. The headquarters of China TNC is located in Beijing. At present, different types of conservation projects are being carried out in Yunnan, Sichuan, Henan, Inner Mongolia, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and the Yangtze River Basin, and have achieved outstanding results. The Nature Conservancy (TNC) The Nature Conservancy (TNC) was founded in 1951 and is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, USA. It is one of the largest non-profit environmental organizations in the world. TNC has always been committed to protecting land and water areas of significant ecological value globally, maintaining the natural environment, and enhancing human well-being. Based on science, TNC develops innovative practical solutions to solve the most severe challenges on Earth. We take a global perspective to address climate change, protect land, rivers, and oceans, and help promote sustainable urban development. Currently, TNC operates in over 70 countries and regions worldwide, managing more than 1600 nature reserves covering over 500000 square kilometers, 8000 kilometers of rivers, and over 100 marine ecological zones. 1600+ Natural Reserve 8000+ River/kilometer 100+ Marine protected areas Protection methods for TNC Land, climate change, oceans, freshwater, and cities are the five aspects that TNC is most concerned about. Adhering to multi-party collaboration and scientific based protection methods and standardized analysis methods are the prerequisites for TNC to carry out all protection work. Under this premise, TNC first selects priority areas for biodiversity conservation, develops conservation plans, and measures conservation effectiveness. This set of protection methods and standardized analysis methods constitute the core content of Conservation by Design (CbD). Nature conservation system engineering is a long-term protection tool and method used by TNC. In order to reduce uncertainty in decision-making for conservation work, TNC often uses two methods under this framework: Eco regional Assessment (ERA) and Conservation Action Plan (CAP). Credibility TNC has a fiduciary and accountability obligation to its members, the public, and all those involved in our conservation efforts. Throughout, TNC has received high praise from public welfare and charity supervisory organizations TNC has met all the public welfare and charity accountability standards of the BBB WiseGiving Alliance in the United States; The American Charitable Institute has rated TNC as an "A-level" charitable organization; TNC has been rated as "Industry Excellent/Qualified" by the "Charity Navigator" evaluation agency; Forbes magazine rated the fundraising efficiency of TNC as 89% in its annual survey report on the largest charitable organizations in the United States; TNC has received double four-star global NGO awards for two consecutive years.

Connect, protect, and build anytime, anywhere | Cloudflare

Connect, protect, and build anytime, anywhere | Cloudflare

At Cloudflare, we have an ambitious goal - to help build a better Internet. We believe that with our excellent team, advanced technology and loyal users, we can solve some of the most important problems on the Internet. How significant are these issues? In 2004, Matthew Prince and Lee Holloway began to address a fundamental question: "Where does spam come from?" They established a system that allowed any website owner to track how spam creators collect email addresses. Project Honey Pot was born from this. Project Honey Pot has quietly developed over the years. Lee's flexible architecture has evolved to be able to track more threats faced by web administrators. Thousands of websites from over 185 countries/regions have signed up for the project. Although users appreciate the ability of Project Honey Pot to track malicious online behavior, they repeatedly demand the same: stop just tracking and stop it! In 2009, Mattew took advantage of his paid vacation to pursue an MBA at Harvard Business School. There he met Michelle Zatlyn, the current Chief Operating Officer of Cloudflare. One day, while chatting, Mattew mentioned Project Honey Pot and its amazing user community. Michelle immediately recognized the opportunity to create a service to raise the Project Honey Pot to a new level: not only to track Internet threats, but also to stop them. These two students began to develop a business plan. The first thing is to come up with a name. The first business plan was called 'Project Web Wall', but it did not resonate. A friend of Matthew suggested that since we are building a 'firewall on the cloud', we should use the name Cloudflare. As soon as they heard the name, they immediately felt it was right and made a decision immediately. Matthew and Michelle collaborated with faculty from Harvard Business School to refine the business plan. Meanwhile, Lee built his first working prototype in his spare time. In April 2009, Cloudflare won the championship in the prestigious Harvard Business School Business Plan Competition. Lee was living in California at the time, while Michelle and Matthew also moved to California after graduating from Harvard Business School. These three co founders spent the entire summer perfecting the Cloudflare prototype. They believe that Cloudflare has solved the real needs and are working to elevate Cloudflare to a new level. In November 2009, Cloudflare completed its Series A funding round with Ray Rothrock from Venrock and Carl Ledbetter from Pelion Venture Partners. Matthew, Lee, and Michelle started forming the Cloudflare team. It is not easy to recruit people without products, but one thing has moved everyone: Cloudflare's core mission is to help build a better Internet. This is a project that fills excellent engineers with passion. Soon after, Cloudflare began to have an excellent team stationed in its office in Palo Alto, California, consisting of people who had jumped from top companies such as Google, Yahoo, PayPal, and Mint.com. The biggest concern for investors and advisors is that Cloudflare's solution, which is designed to protect website security, is likely to cause delays. So the entire team began to exert all their efforts to eliminate every possible delay point in the system. In June 2010, Cloudflare quietly launched a private beta version for a small group of members in the Project Honey Pot community. The entire team held their breath in anticipation of the results. Then, something surprising happened. Users have started writing that Cloudflare not only protects them from online threats, but also increases the average loading speed of their website by 30%. The efficiency of the Cloudflare system, the caching layer for static resources, and the fact that Cloudflare helps its user websites resolve large amounts of junk traffic mean that Cloudflare not only provides security, but also incredible performance. Since Cloudflare was first discussed on the Harvard Business School campus in 2009, this program has been aimed at officially announcing its launch at the TechCrunch conference. On September 27, 2010, Cloudflare really did this. The entire Cloudflare team gathered at the TechCrunch Disrupt Auditorium in downtown San Francisco. The first batch of beta users are very happy because they can finally share with everyone how great the service they have been using for several months is. Matthew and Michelle stepped onto the stage to announce the official launch of Cloudflare to the world. Since then, over the course of 6 years, Cloudflare has launched dozens of products and hundreds of features, opened 6 offices in 3 countries/regions, and put 320 data centers online. All of these efforts have brought Cloudflare's advantages to millions of customers worldwide: security, performance, reliability, and insight.
