African Lens

African Lens is a photography magazine founded by photographer and artist Aaron Yeboah. The purpose of this magazine is to showcase the works of African photographers and provide a platform for young African photographers to tell their stories and express their perspectives. The magazine has released three issues, with one issue every six months.

In Western media reports, Africa is often depicted as a continent filled with negative news. However, African Lens aims to showcase the true face of Africa and enable more people to understand its diverse cultures and rich cultural heritage.

Before founding African Lens, Aaron Yeboah had his own studio called 2dots Space, located in Louisiana, USA. African Lens was born in this studio. Currently, Aaron Yeboah plans to move his studio from the United States to Ghana, making it a local creative platform. Their photographic works will also be exhibited in Ghana and South Africa.
