Kairos - The immutable Linux meta-distribution for edge Kubernetes

Custom bootable OS images can be built based on the OS and Kubernetes distribution of the users choice, which are provided as container images and can be customized and extended.

Each node is started from the same immutable image, ensuring the consistency and security of the cluster, and data encryption protects stored data.

Simple installation, can be set up via QR code, manual, remote SSH, interactive or Kubernetes.

Optimized for running Kubernetes workloads, upgrades can also be done through Kubernetes, and can also be used as a standard Linux distribution, configuration management is done through cloud-init.
