Nyidanmark.dk is the official internet portal of the Danish Immigration Service and the Agency for International Recruitment and Integration on the rules for entering and staying in Denmark.

The main target group of Nyidanmark.dk is foreigners who want to come to Denmark or are already in the country and their families. The main target group also includes representatives of political parties (lawyers, mediation agencies, etc.) as well as companies and educational institutions that employ or train foreigners.

The second target group is the public authority partners of both agencies (police, municipalities, Refugee Board, Migration Board, etc.) as well as other partners (Red Cross, Danish Refugee Council, etc.) and the media. Finally, there is a target group consisting of other people interested in the field of immigration (students, politicians, NGOs, etc.).

The vision of nyidanmark.dk is that the portal should become a consistent, user-oriented digital entry to the immigration area. The portal must provide foreigners who wish to enter and reside in Denmark, their family members, companies or educational institutions, etc. Easy access to relevant information and high-quality digital self-services that meet the needs of users.

The work of the two agencies in running and further developing nyidanmark.dk includes, among other things: Based on the following objectives:
