In 2001, we became a tech company dedicated to making legal help accessible to everyone. With that mission in mind, we launched 10 online services focused on estate planning, business formation, and intellectual property protection.

Soon, word began to spread: there was a new, easier, and cheaper way to get legal help.

In 2010, after a decade of growing our services, we innovated again, creating a network of independent attorneys so our clients could get personalized legal advice without leaving their homes.

We knew there were other ways to help small businesses. So, in 2020, we launched LZ Tax, a LegalZoom company. We now offer expert tax advice and accounting solutions, including full-service preparation and filing.

With offices in Los Angeles, Austin, and the Bay Area, our united workforce of talented, diverse, and inclusive Zoomers is the secret to our success and the reason we’ve been able to help millions of people achieve their dreams.
