EARTHDAY.ORG's founders created and organized the first Earth Day on April 22, 1970. Since then, EARTHDAY.ORG has mobilized over 1 billion people to protect the planet every year on Earth Day and beyond.

EARTHDAY.ORG's mission is to enrich, educate and activate the global environmental movement. Originated from the first Earth Day in 1970, EARTHDAY.ORG is the world's largest environmental movement recruiter, working with over 150,000 partners in over 192 countries to drive positive action for our planet.
