Danske Bank is the largest bank in Denmark. It includes Danske Bank Group, BG Bank, Realkredit Danmark, Danica Pension and other parts, and provides a wide range of financial services, including insurance, mortgage finance, property management and real estate services.

At the end of 2022, Danske Bank reached a settlement with US and Danish authorities and agreed to pay a total of $2 billion in fines. However, on February 2, 2024, the bank announced its first share buyback plan in six years, marking its gradual emergence from the shadow of the money laundering scandal.
