KnittingHelp.com is a collaborative effort between Amy and Sheldon Finlay. Amy is a genius weaver responsible for content and videos, while Sheldon is a resident geek handling all online content. This website starts with Amy's personal website, where she has many free basic knitting videos. The video became very popular, and Amy decided to expand the website and launched it in 2004. KnittingHelp.com has become one of the most popular online knitting guidance websites. Amy, Sheldon, and their youngest daughter Erin live in western Massachusetts.

Hi, guys. My name is Amy, and I am the voice and hands behind the videos on this website. I created videos and content for this website just to share what I like... With this knowledge, there is no better way to learn weaving than to watch weaving!

I don't know if my videos are professional because Sheldon has created a very cute website to showcase them, but people tell me every day that they are very practical for weavers. Hu Lei! This is music in the teacher's ears.

There is a warning for my videos: they are very specific. If not everything, I am nothing. But don't think this means I'm rushing to figure out what to do. When I encounter problems, I am very willing to use spontaneous solutions to solve them, and when I cannot recall the "correct" way, I usually do so. Is it right to have such a thing? These days, I have been busy raising our newborn daughter Erin. When I have free time, I may be discovered weaving. Or order compostable forks to green a big gathering.
