AAC Art China | China Contemporary Art Award

AAC art of China) is the most important contemporary art annual selection in China, founded in 2006. It aims to present the process of Chinese contemporary art in the context of regional culture and promote the overall influence of Chinese contemporary art in the world through the annual sorting and selection of Chinese contemporary art.

AAC Art China has set up two selection ladders, the nomination award and the final award. On the one hand, it focuses on the promotion of nominated artists and effectively focuses on the attention of AAC.

1. Generation of candidate list of nomination Award: each year, the selection team of AAC organizing committee recommends influential contemporary Chinese artists and publications to the Advisory Committee according to the data accumulated in the annual AAC monthly observation report, and the AAC Advisory Committee makes supplementary selection and disagreement, and then forms the candidate list of nomination Award for the whole year.
2. Selection of nomination Award: the chairman and judges of AAC's annual committee will select the nomination award from the Annual Nomination candidate list. Five nominations per award.
3. Final award selection and evaluation: AAC's annual jury selects one list of each award from the nominations.

AAC Advisory Committee is composed of professional art critics and curators from all over the world. It provides valuable opinions and suggestions for AAC selection from an objective standpoint. The chairman and judges of the annual AAC jury will be jointly selected by the AAC Art China sponsor and the Council from the AAC Advisory Committee.

The jury is composed of professional and influential art academic critics, curators, etc. all over the world. It adopts the annual election system and is responsible for the selection of this year's AAC awards.
