At the end of 2005, six young media professionals founded the "One Way Street Library" in a courtyard of Yuanmingyuan, named after the German philosopher Benjamin's eponymous work "One Way Street". Afterwards, this bookstore became a frequent destination for top writers, directors, artists, and young people from all over the world. This is not just a bookstore, but also a utopia created by idealists. Here, you can escape the confines of daily life, light up your spirit, and meet like-minded individuals.

Nine years later, just as the Internet and social media have reshaped the whole set of ways to understand the world, the one-way street has also started a journey of reshaping: it has become more three-dimensional, realizing hearing, vision, touch, taste, and all-round reading.

The Unidirectional Street Library has been renamed as Unidirectional Space. This public space provides intellectual, intellectual, and cultural life, consisting of single talk (salon brand), single reading (publication), single kitchen (catering brand), and single choice (original design brand).

Our existence is to help each other expand each other's dimensions: to make ourselves richer, while making those who come here more noble, witty, and interesting. More importantly, we have fought together for an ideal that is higher than ourselves, experienced extraordinary moments in life, and experienced the feeling of life being illuminated.
