So far, our community has contributed 29936, and we continue to contribute more every day, from secret apartments on top of the Eiffel Tower to bridges built with living roots, from chicken shaped temples to cat ruled islands, from fruits that taste like chocolate pudding to spicy sauces made with red ants.

We hold exciting events every week across the country. Atlas Obscura Societies creates intimate and wonderful experiences for our communities in nine cities across the United States. From behind the scenes visits to attending seminars with the world's most outstanding people, we have provided our community with the most rare experiences.

We lead tourists on the most unusual journey in the world, visiting the most stunning places in the world. Atlas Obscura leads small groups of tourists on an adventure, from mountaintop temples in Bhutan to the Meroe ruins in Sudan, and then to the kitchens of famous local chefs in Mexico and Italy.
