David Kimball - CEO

As CEO of Prosper Marketplace, David oversees the vision, overall operations and performance of the company. David joined the company in March 2016 as CFO and was named CEO in December 2016. David brings more than 20 years of financial management experience to this position.

Prior to joining Prosper Marketplace, David served as a Senior Financial Officer in the Chief Operating Office of USAA, overseeing USAA's Real Estate Division, Bank, P&C and Life Insurance Company, Investment Management Company, and Call Center/Distribution functions. During his tenure at USAA, he also served as USAA's Corporate Treasurer and CFO of the Bank.

Prior to joining USAA, David spent ten years at Ford Motor Company and Ford Motor Credit Company in the United States and the United Kingdom, responsible for their securitization programs, debt issuance, and various FP&A positions. David holds an MBA and a BA from Brigham Young University.

David juggles, walks on stilts, rides a pogo stick and a unicycle, but he has never been a street performer or worked in a circus.
