SK's Development in China

As the first South Korean large enterprise to establish a branch in China, SK has made significant progress in its business in China since entering the country in 1991, adhering to the localization strategy of developing together with China. As of the end of 2021, SK Group's assets in China amounted to 26.39 billion US dollars, accounting for 45% of the group's total overseas assets, with 124 branches and over 20000 employees in China.

SK China, as the regional headquarters of the group in China, adheres to the concept of "happy operation" and actively promotes the investment strategy of "dual wheel drive". It not only focuses on areas that generate synergies with the group's existing business, but also seeks high-quality investment opportunities based on future industry development trends, entering multiple high-tech fields such as information and communication technology (ICT), new energy, biotechnology, ESG, etc.
