Network Harmful and Spam Information Reporting and Acceptance Center - 12321

The 12321 Network Bad and Spam Information Reporting and Acceptance Center (hereinafter referred to as the "12321 Reporting Center") is a reporting and acceptance agency established by the Internet Society of China under the commission of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is responsible for assisting the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in accepting reports, investigating and analyzing, and handling bad and spam information in various forms of information and communication networks and telecommunications services such as the Internet, mobile phone networks, and fixed-line telephone networks.

1. Job Responsibilities:

1. Receive reports from all walks of life on bad network and spam information;

2. Verify, count and analyze the problems reflected in the reports, and report to relevant government departments;

3. Supervise the acceptance of user complaints and reports on bad network and spam information of basic operators and other related telecommunications companies;

4. Assist relevant government departments in investigating and handling reported bad network and spam information in accordance with the law;

5. Count and publish the results of handling bad network and spam information;

6. Other matters entrusted by the Ministry of Industry.

2. Acceptance scope:

1. Bad and junk information spread and sent through Internet websites, forums, e-mails, instant messages, blogs, etc.;
2. Bad and junk information spread and sent through SMS, MMS, ringback tone, WAP, IVR, mobile games (including PHS), etc.;
3. Bad and junk information spread and sent through telephone, fax, etc.;
4. Bad and junk information spread and sent through other information communication networks or telecommunications services.
