[School Overview] Hubei University of Arts and Sciences is a provincial full-time general undergraduate college located in Xiangyang, a national historical and cultural city and the sub-central city of Hubei Province. It is located in the ancient Longzhong, the former residence of Zhuge Liang, the embodiment of Chinese wisdom. The school's history can be traced back to Xiangyang Normal College founded in 1958; from 1966 to 1978, Wuhan University Xiangyang Branch was established here; in March 1998, Xiangyang Normal College, Xiangfan Vocational University, and Xiangfan Education College merged to form Xiangfan College; in July 2000, Hubei Arts and Crafts School was fully incorporated; in February 2012, it was renamed Hubei University of Arts and Sciences.
