Hubei University of Technology Hubei University of Technology, referred to as "Hunan University of Technology", is located in Wuhan, a national central city known as the "crossroads of nine provinces". It is a provincial key multidisciplinary university with engineering as its feature, covering eight major disciplines including engineering, literature, science, art, economics, management, law and education. The school has been selected as a key university in Hubei Province, a first-class discipline construction university in Hubei Province, a university in the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program" and "Excellent Teacher Training Program" of the Ministry of Education, and a national "Basic Capacity Construction Project for Colleges and Universities in Central and Western China".
