Le Shi -share the future

Le Shi is a global movement composed of millions of people. They all believe that poverty is not inevitable in a world of rich resources. Our vision is a fair world without poverty. We want a world that people enjoy rights as formal citizens; here, every woman and men are given power and are treated equally; individuals can affect their decisions of their lives.

When the disaster came, the primary task of Le Shi was to start saving life and then help people become stronger.

Oxfam in Asia | The future is equal-

Le Shi ensures that people can have decent sanitary facilities and get clean drinking water. We help people get the food and other necessities required for survival and ensure that the most vulnerable groups are free of harm.We support them to better prepare for impact and uncertainty. We help rebuild the community, make it stronger from the disaster, and face the future in our own way.

Asia has become one of the fastest -growing economies in the world. However, the increasing gap between the rich and the poor clearly reminds us that our region is still the two -thirds of the world's most poor population.

Although Asian countries have made good progress in economic growth and reduction of poverty, if inequality, social exclusion and vulnerability still exist, the poor will still be poor. The humanitarian crisis caused by poor climate change, poor governance, and conflict is also shaking the stability of Asia.Natural disasters and water resources have intensified, leading to unhealthy competition in natural resources.

Two -thirds of the poor in Asia are women. However, women's rights in the decision -making of women in society, politics, and economy are still insufficient. This is why women's rights are the core of everything we do.
