KnittingHelp | Learn how to use free weaving videos to weave!

KnittingHelp.com is a collaborative effort between Amy and Sheldon Finlay. Amy is a genius weaver responsible for content and videos, while Sheldon is a resident geek handling all online content. This website starts with Amy's personal website, where she has many free basic knitting videos. The video became very popular, and Amy decided to expand the website and launched it in 2004. KnittingHelp.com has become one of the most popular online knitting guidance websites. Amy, Sheldon, and their youngest daughter Erin live in western Massachusetts. About Amy Hi, guys. My name is Amy, and I am the voice and hands behind the videos on this website. I created videos and content for this website just to share what I like... With this knowledge, there is no better way to learn weaving than to watch weaving! I don't know if my videos are professional because Sheldon has created a very cute website to showcase them, but people tell me every day that they are very practical for weavers. Hu Lei! This is music in the teacher's ears. There is a warning for my videos: they are very specific. If not everything, I am nothing. But don't think this means I'm rushing to figure out what to do. When I encounter problems, I am very willing to use spontaneous solutions to solve them, and when I cannot recall the "correct" way, I usually do so. Is it right to have such a thing? This is all about the joy of creation, so please Never let anyone tell you that what you did was' wrong ' These days, I have been busy raising our newborn daughter Erin. When I have free time, I may be discovered weaving. Or order compostable forks to green a big gathering. Or sing with others (sacred harp singing is a special kind of love). I don't want to link to my personal website because it's being ignored now (I'm not a computer geek)... But this is unethical, for those who want to know more about me: www.amyfinlay.com May you find inspiration and enjoy happiness here! ~Amy About Sheldon I am the technical geek behind KnittingHelp.com, responsible for all the design, web programming, and server operations of the website. The current version of KnittingHelp.com (v3.0) is developed in PHP using modxcms for vBulletins on general websites and forums. Some of the recent new features on KnittingHelp.com are built using Ruby on Rails, and we really like them. If geek talk is your business, be sure to check out my geek blog, refresherate.com, or follow me on Twitter. I'm Mike. I will always learn and spend most of my time reading technical books, blogs, and listening to podcasts about web design, programming, and business. I usually fall asleep when I'm not on the computer. But if I don't sleep, I usually get caught with Amy and our newborn daughter Erin.

Dynamic Visualization of Data Structures and Algorithms (Chinese) - VisuAlgo

VisuAlgo was originally conceived by Associate Professor Steven Halim in 2011, with the aim of promoting students' deeper understanding of data structures and algorithms by providing a self paced interactive learning platform Using it as a tool to help students better understand data structures and algorithms, enabling them to independently learn basic knowledge at their own pace. Together with his students at the National University of Singapore, he developed and integrated a range of visualizations, from simple sorting algorithms to complex graphical data structures. Although specifically designed for National University of Singapore students attending various data structure and algorithm courses (CS1010/equivalent, CS2040/equivalent, CS3230, CS3233, and CS4234), as advocates for online learning, we hope curious people around the world will also find these visualization effects useful. The book "Competitive Programming" co authored by Dr. Steven Halim, Dr. Felix Halim, and Dr. Suhendry Effendi discusses many advanced algorithms, and VisuAlgo remains the exclusive platform for visualizing and animating these complex algorithms ten years later. VisuAlgo is primarily designed for students enrolled in various data structure and algorithm courses at the National University of Singapore (NUS), such as CS1010/equivalent courses, CS2040/equivalent courses (including IT5003), CS3230, CS3233, and CS4234. It is also a valuable resource for curious individuals worldwide, promoting online learning. Initially, VisuAlgo was not designed for small touch screens such as smartphones, as complex algorithm visualizations require a large amount of pixel space
