Joy grew up in the kitchen, between a father who meant sweet potato pies and a mother who made a very weird purple hot dog casserole…don’t ask. Between kitchen-loving parents, clinking cake pans, and flying flour, it’s clear baking is in the blood.
In 2014, Joy moved from California to New Orleans, Louisiana, inspired by the people, the culture, and the beignets. This is where much of Joy’s life, work, eating, cocktailing, and related horseback riding takes her.
