Open courses at National Taiwan University

In order to promote the sharing of teaching resources, implement the concept of constructing a lifelong learning environment, and provide self-directed learners with broader learning content, Open Curriculum (OCW) has become a global trend. To respond to the global open education movement, fulfill social responsibility, and enhance the visibility of our school, we will invite each department to provide high-quality courses that showcase their characteristics and establish an "Open Curriculum" website. The textbook content not only provides free online self-learning for the general public, but also serves as a learning aid, course teaching, and reference for research topics for domestic and foreign students, teachers, and related researchers to enhance learning effectiveness and research quality.

Our school continues to produce and provide high-quality courses, including distinctive foundational and professional courses, common compulsory courses, and general education courses for each department. The audiovisual courses (including textbooks, lecture notes, PPTs, and images) placed online will be subject to intellectual property authorization by relevant units of our school. Due to the content or images referenced in the course, if the original creator is unwilling to provide them or the licensing fee is too high, the course will temporarily close some of the audio and video and continue to seek authorization. Only after signing the "National Taiwan University Curriculum Creation CC Authorization Agreement" can it be opened for browsing.
