Zhoukou Normal University is located in Zhoukou City, Henan Province. It is a full-time general undergraduate college. The school was founded in 1973 and has gone through the stages of Zhoukou Normal School, Zhoukou Normal College, and Zhoukou Normal College. In 2002, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be upgraded to Zhoukou Normal University.
