Guangdong Communications Vocational and Technical College was founded in 1959. In 1999, it was approved by the Ministry of Education and was established by merging Guangdong Communications School and Guangdong Shipping School. It is a comprehensive higher vocational college under the jurisdiction of the Provincial Department of Education, with distinctive industry characteristics and mainly engineering disciplines. It has a history of more than 60 years. The college insists on being based on transportation, serving the economic and social development of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and focusing on cultivating technical and skilled talents with innovative spirit.
