Southern University of Science and Technology

Southern University of Science and Technology (abbreviated as: SUSTC) is a new public research university with a high starting point and high positioning established in Shenzhen under the background of China's higher education reform and development. On February 14, 2022, the Ministry of Education and other three ministries announced the list of universities and disciplines for the second round of "Double First-Class" construction. Southern University of Science and Technology and its mathematics discipline were selected into the list of universities and disciplines for the "Double First-Class" construction. The school draws on the discipline settings and school-running models of world-class science and engineering universities, focusing on science, engineering, and medicine, and combining business and distinctive humanities and social sciences. It runs schools at the undergraduate, master, and doctoral levels, and conducts research in a series of new disciplines, making the school a think tank leading social development and a source of new knowledge and new technologies.

Southern University of Science and Technology is rooted in the land of China.
