In 1999, it was approved by the Ministry of Education and was established by merging Guangdong Communications School and Guangdong Shipping School. Southwest Medical University is a provincial general higher education institution in Sichuan Province. In the past four sessions, it has won 19 provincial teaching achievement awards, including 6 first prizes.
