Hebei Vocational College of Political Science and Law (Hebei College of Political Science and Law Management Cadres) is a public welfare second-class institution directly under the Hebei Provincial Party Committee. It is a full-department-level institution and is managed by the Provincial Party Committee Political and Legal Affairs Commission.

The college is the same age as the Republic. It is the birthplace of legal education in Hebei Province and has made important contributions to the construction of democracy and the rule of law and economic and social development in Hebei Province. The college was formerly the Hebei Construction College, which was established in July 1949. The first president was Comrade Yang Xiufeng, Chairman of the Hebei Provincial People's Government. In April 1954, it was rebuilt into the Hebei Provincial School of Political Science and Law Cadres. In November 1983, it was rebuilt into the Hebei College of Political Science and Law Management Cadres. In April 2001, in order to adapt to the development trend of legal professionalization, it was rebuilt into Hebei Vocational College of Political Science and Law. While retaining the functions of "Hebei College of Political Science and Law Management Cadres" and continuing to undertake the task of training political and legal police officers, it began to hold higher vocational education in law. In April 2004, Hebei Forestry School was incorporated as a whole. In the same year, the Hebei Provincial Organization and Establishment Committee approved the restoration of "Hebei College of Political Science and Law Management Cadres".

The college is located in Xinhua District, Shijiazhuang City, covering an area of ​​1,153 acres. There are currently three campuses. The main campus is located at No. 569 Youyi North Street, the North Campus is located at No. 77 Xuefu Road, and the East Campus is located at No. 41 Xuefu Road.

The college's legal affairs major ranked first in the country in the "Ranking of Legal Affairs Majors in Chinese Vocational Colleges" of the China Science and Education Evaluation Network in 2021. In the 2021 and 2022 Chinese University Rankings released by the third-party university evaluation agency, the college won the first place in China's political and legal higher vocational colleges.

The college has a beautiful environment and complete facilities. It has the largest air-inflated gymnasium in North China.
