Jiangxi University of Science and Technology

Jiangxi University of Science and Technology is a full-time private general undergraduate college with engineering, management and art as the main subjects and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. It has the qualification to issue nationally recognized unified enrollment undergraduate and junior college degrees and has the right to confer bachelor's degrees. The school was formerly the Jiangxi Provincial Senior Vocational School founded in 1994. In 1999, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to become a general higher vocational college and was renamed Lantian Vocational and Technical College. In 2005, it was upgraded to a general undergraduate college and renamed Jiangxi Lantian College. In 2009, it was approved as a bachelor's degree-granting institution and was renamed Jiangxi University of Science and Technology in 2012.

The school is located in Nanchang, a historical and cultural city in the south of the Yangtze River and the capital of Jiangxi Province, which enjoys the reputation of "Hero City". The campus covers an area of ​​more than 2,000 acres, with a building area of ​​about 850,000 square meters. It has a 33,000 square meter digital library with more than 2.3 million books. The school currently has 29,881 full-time students and 1,795 faculty and staff, including 1,369 full-time teachers. The school has standard plastic track and field, gymnasium, theater and other student activity venues. There are more than 200 on-campus experimental training rooms such as the Automotive Technology Center, with advanced experimental training equipment. The school organizer, Mr. Yu Guo, is a representative of the 9th, 10th and 11th National People's Congress, and a member of the Standing Committee of the 12th and 13th Jiangxi Provincial People's Congress.
