China Medical University

China Medical University is the earliest institution founded by the Communist Party of China. It is the only institution that has completed the Red Army's 25,000-mile Long March in the name of the school and continued to operate schools during the Long March. It is one of the earliest medical universities in China to carry out Western medical college-style education. one. Its predecessor was the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army Military Medical School founded in Ruijin, Jiangxi in November 1931. In 1932, the school was renamed the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army Health School. In September 1940 in Yan'an, upon the proposal of Comrade Mao Zedong and the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the school was renamed China Medical University. In November 1948, it took over the former National Shenyang Medical College (formerly known as Manzhou Medical University, established in 1911 by the Japanese Nanman Railway Co., Ltd.) in Shenyang, and merged with Liaoning Medical University (formerly known as Shengjing Medical University, established in 1883 by The Church of Scotland in England was established). China Medical University was formerly a higher medical school under the Ministry of Health. In 2000, it was changed to a school jointly established by the province and the ministry. In 2015, it was approved as a university jointly established by the People's Government of Liaoning Province, the National Health Commission and the Ministry of Education.

Since its establishment, China Medical University has trained more than 100,000 senior medical professionals, with graduates located all over the country and in many countries and regions around the world.
