Liaocheng University

Liaocheng University is located in Liaocheng, Shandong Province, a national historical and cultural city. It is a comprehensive university under the jurisdiction of Shandong Province. The history of the school can be traced back to the Normal School in Shandong University Hall in 1902. In 1970, Shandong Normal College moved to Liaocheng to run schools. In 1974, the Liaocheng Branch of Shandong Normal College was established. In 1981, it was approved by the State Council to be renamed Liaocheng Normal College. In 2002, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be renamed Liaocheng University. In 2012, the school was identified as one of the first batch of famous schools with application-oriented talent training characteristics in Shandong Province. The school has the right to confer master's and bachelor's degrees, has the qualification to recommend master's students, and cooperates with many universities at home and abroad to train doctoral students.
