Neijiang Normal University is a full-time general undergraduate college run by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and supervised by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education. The school is located in Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, an important node city in the main axis of the "Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle". It is picturesque and culturally rich, and has produced outstanding talents such as Confucius' teacher Chang Hong, Chinese painting master Zhang Daqian, and news giant Fan Changjiang. The school held higher education in 1956 and was upgraded to a college in 2000.
