Watching the East, gathering wisdom. Jiamusi University is located in Jiamusi, the first place in China to welcome the rising sun and the most charming city with the best ecological environment. Jiamusi City is the central city in the northeastern region of Heilongjiang Province. It was liberated in 1947. At that time, it was the capital of Hejiang Province (Zhang Wentian was the first secretary). It was the rear area of ​​the Liberation War and was known as the "Little Yan'an in the Northeast". The city has rich natural resources and a good ecological environment. It has three major water systems: Heilongjiang, Songhua River, and Ussuri River. It has convenient transportation, and flights connect major cities in China. The school was founded in July 1947. In 1995, it was approved by the former State Education Commission and was formed by the merger of Jiamusi Medical College, Jiamusi Institute of Technology, Jiamusi Normal College and the former Jiamusi University (municipal). After 2000, Jiamusi Grain Workers Secondary Vocational School, Fujin Normal School and Heilongjiang Polytechnic School were successively incorporated. The school covers an area of ​​1.31 million square meters and a building area of ​​620,000 square meters. There are four school districts. The main campus is backed by Sifeng Mountain in the south and Songhua River in the north. It has distinct four seasons and excellent natural ecology.
